Training Diary
A live record of my training at 50. Outdoor sessions, resistance work, fitness drills and everything in between. No highlight reel — just the real thing, documented as it happens. Added after every session.
This is not a training plan. It is a training record — what was actually done, on what day, in what conditions, and how it felt. I have trained since the age of 18. Two ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstructions and Type 1 diabetes have taught me more about the body than any textbook. This diary is where that experience shows up in real time.
Session 5 — Fitness Drills
Three people, cones and a park. One training partner back from university after three months away. The camcorder died mid-session. The phone took over. Nobody stopped.
Session 4 — Fitness Drills
Pure drill-based cardio in the park. Shuttle runs, T-drill, cone weave, box drill, figure of 8 and press-ups. One hour. At 50, it was hard. By the end there was nothing left.
Session 3 — TRX & Plyometrics
Third session in six days. Two TRX circuits, plyometric bench jumps and 16 press-ups at the end. The rain came three times. We kept going.
When the Website Started Fighting Back
I built this site to share honest fitness education. Somehow I ended up fighting video editing software, muting swear words and exporting broken files. This is what happened and what I learned from it.
Session 2 — TRX Suspension Training
Two days after the first session back. Everything still hurting from Thursday. Legs heavy, body tired. One hour of TRX — we plodded along and finished. That is the whole point.
Session 1 — First Session Back
First outdoor session back after a long break. Fitness drills, EZ bar upper body and resistance bands. Three clients showed up in threatening weather. Nobody regretted it.
Sessions are added after they happen. This diary starts from May 2026 — older sessions from previous years will be added when located. If you want to follow along, check back regularly or get in touch.
